İSVEÇTE YAŞAYAN TÜRKLERİN TÜRKÇEYE YÖNELİK METAFORİK ALGILARI

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, İsveç’te yaşayan Türklerin Türkçeye yönelik algılarını belirlemektir. İsveç’te yaşayan Türklerin Türkçeye yönelik olarak ürettikleri metaforların aynı zamanda onların Türkçeye bakış açıları hakkında ipucu vereceği düşüncesi araştırmanın desenlenmesinde etkili olmuştur. Araştırmada belirlenen temel amaca ulaşmak için aşağıdaki sorulara cevap aranmıştır: 1. İsveç’te yaşayan Türklerin “Türkçe” ye yönelik ürettikleri metaforlar nelerdir? 2.Bu metaforlar ortak özellikleri bakımından hangi kavramsal kategoriler altında toplanabilir? Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımı çerçevesinde olgubilim (fenomenoloji) araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. 2009 yılında İsveç’in Stockholm kentinde yaşayan 100 kişinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın verileri anket aracılığıyla toplanmış, verilerin değerlendirilmesinde betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmış, bulgular nicel olarak frekanslar halinde tablolar şeklinde sunulmuştur.

The aim of this research is to investigate the perceptions of immigrant Turks in Sweden towards the Turkish language. The starting point for the investigation was to find out the perceptions of immigrant Turks in a Swedish setting about the Turkish language. Turkish spoken by the Turkish immigrants and their metaphors regarding Turkish language were the main starting point to find out their perceptions. The following questions were designed to achieve the stated aim: 1. What are the metaphors that the immigrant Turks have on the Turkish language? 2. Regarding their common features, under which categories can these metaphors be classified? The study was designed as a phenomenological study within the qualitative approach and the data were collected through metaphors. The data for this descriptive research was collected through a survey. The open-ended questions in the questionnaire were analyzed descriptively, and then the results were given quantitatively.
